Code Of Ethics
The function of the Bad Dogs Wresting
Code Of Conduct is to promote
team unity,
good sportsmanship, instill discipline, a positive attitude
and lead by example.
1.
All Bad Dogs Parents shall be cognizant that he/she has an
incredible amount of influence good or bad on all participants.
Coaches shall never place the value of winning over instilling the
highest ideals of character.
2.
The Parents shall uphold the honor and dignity of the
sport. The Parent shall strive to set an example of the highest
ethical and moral conduct in all personal contact with athletes,
officials, athletic
directors, parents, media, and the public.
3.
The Parent shall take an active role in the prevention of
drug, alcohol, and tobacco abuse.
4.
The Parent shall avoid the use of alcohol and tobacco
products when in contact with athletes. Never attend practice or
matches while intoxicated. You will be asked to leave and further
disciplinary actions
may be taken.
5.
The Parent shall promote the entire program and direct the
program in harmony with all involved.
6.
The Parent shall exert his/her influence to enhance
sportsmanship by spectators, both directly and by working closely
with other parents, volunteers, and all organization members.
7.
The Parent shall respect and support contest officials.
The Parent shall not indulge in conduct that would incite players or
spectators against the officials. Public criticism of officials or
players is unethical.
8.
Before and after contests, Parents should be cordial when
dealing with other parents, coaches, officials, athletes and all
staff members assisting with contests or tournaments.
9.
A Parent shall not exert pressure on anyone including
officials, table help, etc., to give athletes special consideration.
10.
Do not use words that malign or defame other competitors.
This is little league
sport where Parents should try and be positive at every
level.
11.
Only a person with a coaches pass or USA coach’s card can
sit mat side at a tournament. Parents that are not coaches should
remain in the stands.
THE BAD DOGS ORGANIZATION DOES NOT
CONDONE IMMORAL, UNETHICAL, AND/OR ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR. VIOLATIONS ARE
SUBJECT TO SUSPENSION OR IMMEDIATE REMOVAL.
